📍 Wednesday | Athletics Competition Afternoon

This Wednesday is one of the most loved afternoons on our calendar — our annual CHRISTMAS ROUND 🎅🎄
It’s always full of fun, laughter and festive cheer, and it’s extra special this year as it marks our final competition for 2025 and the halfway point of the season.

Here’s what’s in store 👇

🎅🧚‍♀️ Special Christmas Visitors
We are thrilled to welcome not one, but TWO magical guests to the track!
The jolly man in the red suit himself will be visiting, and for the first time ever he’ll be joined by Fairy Simone, who is coming along to spread bubbles, joy and Christmas magic around the grounds.

🍬🎁 Christmas Treats for All Athletes
Santa and Fairy Simone will be handing out a special Christmas treat to every athlete to help celebrate the season.
And because the club loves a bit of festive fun… every athlete will also receive a FREE Zooper Dooper — because what’s December without a little sugar-fuelled joy 😄

🎄👕 GET FESTIVE – DRESS UP!
We want the track bursting with Christmas colour and creativity!
👉 Wear something red, come dressed as your favourite reindeer, rock your ugliest Christmas sweater, or go all-out festive — anything goes!
🎁 Prizes will be awarded in each age group for Best Dressed, so get creative and have some fun with it.

🌭❤️ BBQ Fundraiser – Christmas Giving
After the huge success of our Coles Community Round BBQ, we’re firing it up again — this time with a Christmas twist.
👉 All funds raised from the BBQ will be donated to the Armidale Women’s Shelter, who do incredible work supporting vulnerable women and children in our local community.
So come hungry and help us give back 💕

With Week 9 lost to those late afternoon storms, we’ll be running Rotation B again, with slight adjustments to ensure everyone can enjoy the Christmas activities.
